Day 1: Casablanca » Rabat » Meknes » Fes
We will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Casablanca to start our 8-day tour. First, we will visit the Hassan Mosque. Later, we continue to Rabat, the administrative capital, where we will visit the Hassan Tower. Finally, we will arrive in Fes, where you will have dinner and stay overnight at a traditional Riad.
Day 2: Fes Sightseeing tour with a local guide
After breakfast, meet a local guide and spend most of the day exploring the Medina (old part of the city) with a full-day guided tour. Discover many historical sites such as the Jewish quarter, Royal Palace, old souks, and Tanneries.
Day 3: Fes » Azrou (Cedar forest) » Medilt » Ziz Valley » Merzouga Desert
Continuing our 8-day desert tour from Casablanca, we depart around 08:30 am to the desert through Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, where wild monkeys are located. Enjoy seeing the monkeys climbing the trees.
Later, we continue to the desert via Ziz Valley and Erfoud, known for marble fossils. We drive to Merzouga through Rissani, a commercial place where many tribes come to sell and buy goods. Finally, we arrive at the desert.
Day 4: Tour around Erg Chebbi Dunes & Visit a Nomad family
Today, we will travel and explore the Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga, where nomads still live. Begin with a visit to the seasonal lake of Merzouga and Khamlia, known for traditional Gnawa music.
Later, visit some deserted mines and an oasis of palm trees. Enjoy a local lunch before returning to the guest house to ride camels into the sand dunes and discover the desert.
Day 5: Merzouga » Rissani souk » Erfoud » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley
After taking memorable photos of the sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Then, start our trip to Dades Valley, passing through Erfoud, known for marble fossils, and Jorf. Continue to Todra Gorges, which contains one of the most impressive canyons, and then to Dades.
Day 6: Dades » Skoura Oasis » Kasbah Taourirt » Ouarzazate » Marrakech
After breakfast, leave towards Ouarzazate through Berber villages built by mud. Continue to Skoura, known for palm trees.
Next, visit Ouarzazate, the small Hollywood of Africa, and explore the old Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas studio located in the city center. Depart to Marrakech via the famous and well-preserved fortified kasbah in Morocco: Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987.
Ait Ben Haddou was a perfect location for famous movies such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” and the series “Game of Thrones.”
Enjoy the high Atlas mountains views and the Tizi N-Tichka pass while snaking within its gorgeous cliffs. Arrive in Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation.
Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing tour with a local guide
At around 09:00 am, spend most of the day exploring the Medina (old part of the city) with a full-day guided tour.
During this sightseeing tour, visit historical sites near Jemaa el Fna square, including El Koutoubia, Saidian Tombs, Menara, and Majorelle Garden.
Day 8: Marrakech to Airport
Our 8-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech ends with an airport transfer.
