Day 1: Marrakech » Atlas Mountains » Merzouga Sahara Desert
Start your tour from your accommodation in Marrakech. Enjoy incredible views of the High Atlas Mountains, stopping several times along the way. Visit the UNESCO Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah in Ouarzazate province, a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture.
Continue to Merzouga via Skoura, a historic fertile oasis lined with immense palm groves in the Drâa-Tafilalet region. Enjoy the impressive Dades River and its splendid gorges. Pass through Rissani, the biggest souk in the region, and arrive in Merzouga.
Experience a camel ride through the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoy sandboarding, and watch the sunset. Spend the night in a Berber-style tent in the Sahara desert with dinner and a party around the campfire.
Day 2: Merzouga » Erfoud » Ziz Valley » Azrou Cedar Forest » Fes
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast in the camp, ride the camels back to the departure point and continue the tour to Fes. Pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils and marble sculptures. Travel through the Ziz Valley and its palm groves, Errachidia, and Midelt. Stop in the cedar forest to meet the famous wild monkeys. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon and drop off at your hotel or riad.
