Day 1: Agadir » Taliouine » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate
Start your journey from Agadir, crossing through Taroudant, known as “small Marrakesh.” Drive to Taliouine, the only saffron-growing area in Morocco, and Taznakht. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for movies like “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” and “Game of Thrones.” After lunch in a Berber restaurant, visit the Atlas Film Studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate » Rose Valley » Todra Gorges » Sahara Desert
After breakfast in Ouarzazate, drive through the Rose Valley and Dades Valley to Todra Gorges. Take a walk in the beautiful gorges before continuing to the dunes of Erg Chebbi desert. Experience a camel ride to reach the dunes for a spectacular sunset. Overnight in a desert camp.
Day 3: Sahara Desert » Rissani » Alnif » Agdez
Wake up early to see the sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, drive from Merzouga to the Draa Valley, crossing Rissani, Alnif, and Tazzarine. In the afternoon, drive along the Draa Valley, known for its huge palm trees and ancient villages. Overnight in Agdez.
Day 4: Agdez » Anti Atlas Mountains » Marrakech
On the final day, drive from Agdez to Marrakech via the Anti-Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tinfifte pass (1660m). Visit the Kasbah of Tifoultoute in Ouarzazate, originally the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Take an unpaved track to Fint Oasis, a hidden delight among the mountains. Continue to Marrakech along the High Atlas Mountains, arriving by the end of the afternoon. Conclude your 4-day desert tour from Agadir to Marrakech.
