Day 1: Agadir to Ouarzazate
Start your Sahara Desert excursion from Agadir, departing from your accommodations or the airport. Drive towards Ouarzazate through Taliouine, known for its saffron production. Take a break at the “Hills Have Eyes” movie gas station, then head to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy an overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate to Sahara Desert
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate and drive towards the Sahara Desert, passing by Todra Gorges and an old irrigation system. Stop for lunch in Tinjdad village, then continue to Merzouga village. Meet the camel guide and ride camels to the camp, enjoying the sunset from the top of the highest golden sand dunes. Spend the night in a Berber camp, with breakfast and dinner included.
Day 3: Sahara Desert to Marrakech
On the final day, after breakfast in the camp, drive towards Marrakech through Rissani, known for its traditional weekend market. Stop for half an hour to explore the market, then continue towards Ouarzazate, passing by the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Have lunch in Ouarzazate, then drive through the High Atlas Mountains, making stops to enjoy the views. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and drop off at your accommodation, concluding your 3-day Sahara Desert excursion.
