Day 2: Tangier » Tetouan » Chefchaouen
After breakfast, travel to Tetouan, visiting traditional villages along the Jbala region. Arrive in Chefchaouen and explore the medina, known for its famous square and markets. Overnight in a local hotel.
Day 3: Chefchaouen » Ancient Roman City Volubilis » Meknes » Fes
Depart to Fes, visiting the Roman site of Volubilis and the historical sites of Meknes. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Fes Sightseeing with a Local Guide
Explore the medina of Fes with a local guide. Visit the Royal Palace, tanneries, potters, and other handicraftsmen. Enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant and return to the hotel.
Day 5: Fes » Azrou Cedar Forest » Midelt » Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes)
Travel across the Middle Atlas Mountains to Merzouga, passing through forests, plains, and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in Midelt and continue to Merzouga. Ride camels through the desert for a beautiful sunset and spend the night in a camp with delicious food.
Day 6: Merzouga Area » Camel Trek and Overnight in the Camp
Explore the dunes of Merzouga, visiting oases, Berber nomad lands, and the Khamlia village. Enjoy a camel ride to the dunes for a beautiful sunset and sleep in nomadic tents in a beautiful oasis.
Day 7: Merzouga » Rissani » Todgha Gorges » Dades Valley
Return to the hotel after watching the sunrise in the desert. Visit the Rissani Souk and travel to Todra Gorge. Walk alongside the running streams of the canyons and continue to the Dades Gorges for an overnight stay in a local Riad.
Day 8: Dades Valley » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Marrakech [326 km]
Travel towards the High Atlas Mountains via Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a cinematic site of Morocco. Enjoy lunch in the Kasbah and head across the Tizi n Tishka pass to Marrakech for an overnight stay in a Riad.
Day 9: Marrakech » Essaouira » Marrakech
Drive to Essaouira, a coastal city with ancient streets, museums, castles, and bronze cannons. Return to Marrakech for an overnight stay in a Riad.
Day 10: Marrakech Sightseeing with a Local Guide
Spend the day sightseeing in Marrakech, visiting the Medina, souks, Jamaa el Fna square, Saadian Tombs, Menara gardens, and the palaces of El Bahia and Badia. Overnight in a hotel in Marrakech.
Day 11: Marrakech » Casablanca » Rabat
Head to Rabat, passing through Casablanca. Visit Hassan II Mosque and stay overnight in a hotel in Rabat.
Day 12: Rabat » Assilah » Tangier
Drive to Tangier, discovering some attractions before transferring to the ferry port or airport for your departure.
