Day 1: Traveling Morocco from Agadir – Open Arrival
Begin your 7-day tour with a transfer from the airport to your hotel in Agadir. Enjoy free time to walk on your own and explore the corniche.
Day 2: Agadir » Tiznit » Mirleft » Legzira
Depart from your hotel or the airport in Agadir and head south along the Atlantic coast. Visit the natural reserve of Souss Massa and the city of Tiznit, known for its jewelry and silverware. Continue to Aglou beach for a lunch break, then drive through Mirleft and Sidi Ifni, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Arrive at Legzira beach and stay overnight in a local hotel.
Day 3: Legzira » Tafraoute » Taroudant
Leave the Atlantic coast and travel towards Taroudant (small Marrakech) through Guelmim (the door of the Sahara) and the foothills of the Anti-Atlas. Stop for a photo break at the painted rocks at the entrance of Tafraoute, surrounded by huge blocks of pink-white granite. After a lunch break, continue through the mountains and argan trees to reach Taroudant. Overnight in a riad.
Day 4: Taroudant » Taliouine » Zagora
After breakfast, visit the medina of Taroudant with its souks and walls. Continue to Taliouine (capital of saffron) and have lunch, crossing the el Glaoui Kasbah. In the afternoon, travel to the old fort of Agdz (resting place of the old caravans) and the Draa Valley, the longest river in the kingdom and the largest palm grove in Morocco. Arrive in Zagora and stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 5: Zagora » Tazarine » Merzouga Desert
Depart from Zagora to the Erg Chebbi desert. Visit fortified oases and pre-Saharan ksours, then travel to the villages of Nekoub, Tazzarine, Alnif, and Rissani. Visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and his former ksar Abdel Halim. Finally, reach the golden dunes of the Merzouga desert. Overnight in a desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert » Todra Gorges » Ouarzazate
After breakfast in your desert camp, drive to Ouarzazate via Todra Gorges. Take a tour of these popular climbing spots. After lunch, continue to Dades Valley, enjoying its fascinating landscapes. Travel to Ouarzazate (The African Hollywood) via the road of a thousand kasbahs through the Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna. Visit the Kasbah of Taourirte and Atlas Studios. Overnight in a riad.
Day 7: Taznakht » Taroudant » Agadir
On the final day, drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where the movie “Gladiator” was filmed. After exploring the old Kasbah, drive back to Agadir city or Marrakech, depending on your needs.
